Hi everyone. Today is for letter "W" in the A to Z April Blogging Challenge. W is for WildFire. That is one of the Tarzinëan breed studs from the plain lands. He is what many would call a pure breed war stallion. And he has a fiery temper to boot.

W is for WildFire
The Tarzinëan Horse Prince
WildFire is the sire of Blacklash and MoonFire. Blacklash is the king of the herd and MoonFire is his mate. WildFire is what you would call a prince amongst the horses on the plains.
The stallions off the Tarzinëan plains are fought over in market and many soldiers wish to have one for their war steeds. The only problem is that these horses are highly intelligent and have magical abilities that help their rider. They won’t accept just anyone to ride on their backs. That is why the plains people take care of them. They treat each horse like they are their own person. This way, they develop on their own and become their own strength to take care of themselves. Blacklash was the head of the herd for generations until he chose King Tyler to be his rider. Then he went to live at the castle with his mate MoonFire. WildFire remained behind to care for the herds they ruled over. But he has his own story to tell.
When Princess Kerowyné goes on an adventure into the plains alongside her father she meets a world she never dreamed of meeting. Horses were so highly intelligent it was like dealing with human beings. Plain people that fit their own rules and culture that it was hard to fit it. But one thing she had in common with one friend she made was how she bonded with the one stallion that no one else could. WildFire became her friend and they will have an adventure beyond this one when she is a child when she grows up.
Legend states that the horses of the Tarzinëan plains were created by the Guardian of Soldiers, Huzinki. He created them to bond with warriors worthy of victory and becoming heroes. Some even think that Huzinki takes the form of one horse in each generation of war to help aid the men on the battlefield. The question will come full force when the time when a great hero emerges from the ranks of man and falls to the weight of the war. Then who will step up to stand in his place?
I plan to write WildFire’s adventure with Kerowyné when she is young as part of my Tales of Tarza series. Not sure which order it will go yet. Sadly, I had the story almost done only to find out that my computer deleted everything. That means I’m back at square one with this project but looking forward to seeing what comes from my second attempt at this story.
That's awful that your work was deleted. I hope you'll be able to retrieve it. Here from the A-Z and enjoyed reading this backstory. Blacklash is a lovely name, so are Moonfire and Wildfire. Very evocative. All the best.
